BALOTELLI WILL STAY

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has said that he does not think about leaving Manchester City at the end of this season.

The striker has caused a lot of problems within the squad, which ultimately led to him being temporarily suspended from the first team action after the 1-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal recently.

The defeat almost handed the title to rivals Manchester United, as United had developed an eight point advantage at the top of the table. There have been growing tensions surrounding Mario Balotelli in recent weeks, with rumours suggesting that the other players were unhappy with his selection.

It now finally seems to be the case after Manchester City produced a remarkable turnaround in the fortunes after securing a 4-0 win over West Brom. One of the most interesting aspects in the win was the fact that Mario Balotelli was nowhere to be seen in the vicinity of the first team.

Both the players and the fans have been able to accept the return of Carlos Tevez, but they are unable to accept the presence of Balotelli in the team. This has led to rumours that the Italian may demand a transfer in the summer, but the former Inter Milan striker has ruled out leaving Manchester City at the end of this season.

"My future? I am only thinking about winning the title at the moment. Why are you always talking about Milan and Inter? I am under contract with Manchester City and have no intention of leaving. I am pleased that [the Internazionale president Massimo] Moratti talks about me in a positive way. He has known me since I was 15. I am grateful for the faith he has in me, but I'm only thinking about Manchester City," Balotelli said in response to the doubts regarding his future.
