All top flight footballers have at least two things in common: plenty of downtime and lots of money to burn when they’re not at the ground or on the training pitch.
Perhaps it’s no surprise then to see many of them swap the turf for the green baize of the poker table and eventually carve out a second career.

Euro 2016 star for the Italian national team Leonardo Bonucci has been offered to premier League giant Manchester City, according to latest reports.
The head coach of City Pep Guardiola is an open admirer of the Italian player and has openly praised the defender, calling him one of his “favourite ever players.”
Manchester City was reported to have been approached for the services of the 29-year old player as the club looks at releasing the player. It was not the other way round as it usually is.

When Roy Hodgson resigned immediately after England’s defeat to Iceland at the European Championships in France it was no surprise as the ‘embarrassment’ of losing to the smallest nation ever to qualify for a major tournament was seen as too much to come back from.
Hodgson had also overseen the abject failure that was England’s 2014 World Cup performance in Brazil where they had been eliminated before they even completed their group games thanks to losses to both Italy and Uruguay in the opening matches.

English Premier League heavy weights, Manchester City are reported to have agreed to the move of Schalke younsgeter Leroy Sane for 40 million Pounds.
The move drew concerns to the huge amount the Etihad management is willing to spend on the player that young who could still flop.

Star players of the newly crowned English Premier League champions, Leicester City, have demanded an increase in wages following their fairly tale season.
The champions’ Thai owners are planning to open contract negotiations with most of their players later this month when celebrations wear off a little. During their recent title celebration round the city, nearly all of the city dwellers (reportedly 240,000 ecstatic fans) came out to celebrate with the champions of England.
With another season in the Premier League to look forward to, on the back of a successful campaign all the way to the FA Cup final, Crystal Palace have much to look forward to.
The team might have been considered as an underdog for the FA Cup final against Manchester United, but they put in a fantastic performance that saw them being just 12 minutes from greatness, and many are optimistic that they will be able to win the trophy next season if they keep their best players.
