LONDON MADE BECKS PROUD

The LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham has said that his sons were extremely inspired by the athletes at the London Olympics 2012, which was a huge success. Great Britain was given the opportunity to host the Olympics tournament this time around.

The competition was a major success after it was one of the most endearing and hospitable in the last few years. David Beckham played a crucial role in helping promote the London Olympics 2012. Even though the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and AC Milan midfielder wished that he would be part of Team GB, he has said that he was more than happy to be part of the tournament as an ambassador.

"My pride reached new heights when I took part in the 2012 opening ceremony, then when I took my three boys to watch some of the events - like Tom Daley winning his bronze for diving. As I sat with Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz in the Olympic Stadium, I was overwhelmed with pride that I could take them to the 2012 Games in the part of London where I grew up, just down the road from where I first kicked a ball. I know that my boys have been inspired by what they've seen and want to try all sorts of different sports for themselves," said David Beckham in an interview given to the Mirror.

David Beckham has returned to club football with the MLS club LA Galaxy. He was initially linked with a return to Europe with the French club Paris St Germain, but he has made an amazing return by signing with the MLS club for two more years. He has been one of the main reasons for the LA Galaxy winning the title against all the odds, and he has stated that he wants to win the title this time as well.
