MAN CITY AGREE £40M MOVE FOR 20-YEAR OLD LEROY SANE

English Premier League heavy weights, Manchester City are reported to have agreed to the move of Schalke younsgeter Leroy Sane for 40 million Pounds.

The move drew concerns to the huge amount the Etihad management is willing to spend on the player that young who could still flop.

However, Sane is one of the most highly rated young players in Germany and has reportedly attracted interest from top clubs including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester United, before City beat them to claim the player ahead of the coming season. The Sun reported that the deal is done and ready. The report also adds that the Germany international will team up with Pep Guardiola once he returns from international duty at Euro 2016.

Sane is the second signing of Guardiola at City after the club confirmed the arrival of fellow German Ilkay Gundgan this month from Borussia Dortmund, with the 25-year-old agreeing to a four year deal. City are reported to have been out scouting for Sane since the beginning of the year when they made the decision to change the entire set up of the team. Even rivals for the player, Chelsea FC had scouts for Sane sent in the friendly game between Germany and Hungary at the start of the month to watch him in action.

Sane has scored 13 times for Schalke in 55 Bundesliga appearances since breaking into the first team in 2014. He has three caps for Germany and was named in Joachim Low's squad currently playing at the Euro 2016 in France. The Telegraph also reported the transfer though Chelsea and United are also keen on the player.

The Mirror also reported it but are awaiting formal confirmation from the club regarding the deal, especially as City are on the radar of more established players.
