Alvaro Arbeloa says that Chelsea manager José Mourinho should not be sacked

Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa says that Chelsea manager José Mourinho should not be sacked since he can guarantee success.

The Portuguese is on the verge of being sacked from his role as the Chelsea manager owing to poor results, which has left the club 15th in the table with only three league wins throughout the campaign. After the recent 3-1 defeat against Liverpool, morale cannot be any lower amongst the players and the supporters. The fans have been supportive of the manager with banners in this recent home game, but Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is sure to be concerned about the club’s future.

Five players to save Chelseas season

Chelsea’s miserable start to the 2015/16 season went from bad to worse at the weekend as they fell to Stoke at the Britannia Stadium.

It leaves them with an even bigger mountain to climb if they are to finish in the top four at the end of the campaign.

The Blues are at the time of writing available at 10/3 in the football betting for a top-four finish as they are currently 13 points adrift of the Champions League places.

Fans bewildered by Uniteds transfer activity

It seems that the long drawn out saga over David de Gea's future has fizzled out in the most obscure fashion, with Manchester United supposedly not sending the paper work to Real Madrid in time before the Spanish transfer window closed.

Madrid will try to contest this but, as it stands, their tactic of leaving the deal to the last minute may well have backfired.

Benzema remains prime Arsenal target

Arsenal are in dire need of a world class striker if they are to stand any chance of winning the Premier League title this season. The Gunners have been linked with a move for Karim Benzema throughout the summer and the Frenchman is the kind of player that Arsene Wenger's side need if they are to compete at the top level.

Morgan Schneiderlin is at the top of Manchester United’s summer targets

Manchester United finished the Premier League season on the 4th spot of the English League which is an incredible feat taking into consideration that this was the debut season of Louis van Gaal and the Dutch manager had to deal with a number of setbacks throughout the entire season but still managed to end on a positive note as he pushed Manchester United to a Champions League spot.
