Spain need to Find Spark

Spain have been looking to break records at this summer’s European Championships, but they have failed to light up the competition, despite making it through to the knockout stages.

The defending champions are looking to be the only nation to win back-to-back Euros, and the first to win three consecutive international competitions.

WARNOCK PLANS FOR THE FUTURE

Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has already begun the process of rebuilding for next season after securing the signing of Portsmouth defender Jason Pearce.

The defender moved to Fratton Park in the summer for £500,000, but he has now secured the move away from the relegated club to Leeds United for an undisclosed fee.

BALOTELLI WILL STAY

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has said that he does not think about leaving Manchester City at the end of this season.

The striker has caused a lot of problems within the squad, which ultimately led to him being temporarily suspended from the first team action after the 1-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal recently.

FERDINAND PLEASED WITH TROPHY HAUL

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has said that he is looking forward to retiring on a high after having achieved a lot for both England and the Manchester United over the years.

The 33-year-old is coming to the end of his career; with many thinking that, the former West Ham defender has only a couple of years at the top level left in him.

Even though he has been able to prove his doubters wrong up until now, Ferdinand has accepted that there may come a time when he may have to retire, but hopes to do so on a high.

BECKHAM WANTS MLS TITLES

David Beckham recently said that he does not want to finish with just one MLS title to his credit. David Beckham helped his side LA Galaxy win the MLS title last season.

He was heavily rumoured in the January transfer window to sign with French club PSG for a reported £ 10 million salary.
