Ronaldo back for Portugal

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo said that he is happy to be back for Portugal after missing out through injuries.

Indeed he made a great return to the team by scoring 4 goals for his national side. Portugal managed to beat Andorra 6-0.

The player injured himself in the Euro finals in France where his team managed to hold on and beat the home country France. Indeed, no one expected Portugal to go that far in the tournament and win the trophy. Cristiano Ronaldo had to leave the field early after being injured in the match, and he stayed on the bench to motivate his teammates. Ultimately his colleague found the necessary resources and determination to resist mounting pressure from the French and win the game.

Since then the player has been injured and has only managed to make his first appearance for his country against Andorra. He ensured that his return was a good one by scoring 4 goals for his team. Although Andorra is far from being a tough opponent Ronaldo will be pleased that he could at least get on the scoresheet for his return to international football.

The Real Madrid striker said that he is happy to be back for the national team and that he has enjoyed a good moment with his teammate. He said that he has put the disappointment of being injured in the final behind him and that he is looking forward to playing for Portugal.

He said that he feels better and that he wants to give his best for the team. The next objective for the team is to make it to the World Cup and that he has the firm intention of helping his team making it to the next World Cup. He believes that Portugal has some good players and that they need to find some consistencies.
